Alternative Apparel // Day Off Hoodie
Every few years, my dad and I make a trip down to LA to enjoy some sun, good food, and good company. We stay in a little motel that’s been family-run since 1972, with an Italian cafe underneath, and most days we sit on the sun deck watching people clean their cars at the car wash across the street. Once in a blue moon, I’ll allow myself one day to go to Venice and visit a few shops – one of those is Alternative Apparel! Their loungewear is cool, comfy, and literally all I reach for when I want PJs that I can also wear outside.
Alternative Apparel // Long Weekend Terry Joggers
The comfiest lounge pants there ever were. I hate the feeling of my pyjama pants riding up my legs under the sheets, so joggers fit the bill for me. And these ones are cute and comfy!
Groceries Apparel // Eucalyptus Tencel PJ Pants
I can’t begin to describe the silky soft feeling of these pants. Like a fresh and comforting hug, they’re the most relaxing PJ pants I’ve ever put on! Size down in this style.
Groceries Apparel // Lounge Bra
If you’re on the hunt for a cute, relaxed lounge bra, this is it! Great for smaller cup sizes up to a D.
Free Label // Thompson Bra – White
As comfy and versatile as its “Andie Bra” counterpart, this bra from Free Label is made of a less compressive material and when worn backwards, it’s a scoop neck instead of the V-neck of the Andie.
Free Label // Andie Bra – Black
Good good lord, this is the best bra I’ve ever owned. It’s soft like butter, supports like underwire and is reversible for a high neck or v-neck. In the summer, it can be worn as a crop top too! Add on that it’s Canadian-made with natural and non-toxic materials, and you’ve got the best bra in the universe. This is not an understatement.
Girlfriend Collective // Topanga Bra
Fun cross-back, made with 11 recycled plastic water bottles. Hands up for diverting waste!
Free Label // Reese Wrap Pants
I own the Tencel version of these pants, and hemmed them to a cropped length. The flowy fabric makes them easy to lounge in, while the slight sheen of Tencel means I can also wear them to the office without a fuss! They’re made in very limited batches, so if you find them sold out or unavailable, sign up for Free Label emails and you’ll be the first to know when they’re back! These fit true to size.
Miakoda New York // Bamboo Leggings
The comfiest and most breathable leggings I own. I sleep, camp, shop, lounge, cook in these. You name it! Made from a bamboo, organic cotton and spandex blend in New York, NY, they’re breathable and non-toxic for your skin.
Girlfriend Collective // Compressive High-Rise Legging
Move over, all other athletic leggings. These are the winners! After 3 years, no pilling whatsoever. Definitely go for the lite leggings if you want something more summer-appropriate, but stick with these for year-round!
Alice + Whittles // Sneakers
Handmade in Portugal from post-industrial leather taken from waste generated when making luxury European car seats. The perfect fashion sneaker!
Kotn // Culotte Sweatpants
Ever want to wear sweatpants, and still go out? Me too. These are the best looking sweats I’ve ever owned! Made consciously from farm to finish with terry Egyptian cotton.
