How I style the Breton (+ real models, too!)

If you’ve seen my previous posts, you’ll know the origins of the Breton Stripe, and the way the fabric is woven. Now that we’ve brushed up on our history, it’s time to get to the fun stuff: styling!

My absolute favourite way to wear a striped top is easy-peasy: tucked into high-waisted jeans, with the sleeves folded 3/4 length. It’s super flattering, comfortable, and looks good any day (with any shoes, for that matter). The first time I wore the Les Sublimes Breton Top, I was in New Jersey and wore it to the beach, of all places – before I truly knew the history of the iconic stripe.

While I ran around, my family captured some candids – and you’ll see how effortlessly it really does come together! I wear a size small, and it has just the right amount of room. You’ll also see some fun (and offbeat!) outfits here.
